Google Brings Conversational AI App Notebook LM to Mobile
By Netvora Tech News
Google's annual I/O developer conference has wrapped up, with the tech giant unveiling a slew of new announcements. For enterprise leaders, one of the most significant developments is the long-awaited arrival of its popular conversational AI application Notebook LM on the Google Play and Apple App Stores. Notebook LM, for those unfamiliar, is a free AI-powered service that allows users to upload and query documents via text. Initially designed as a document querying tool, it has evolved into a highly popular AI podcast generator, featuring two default AI host voices that engage in banter and intonation reminiscent of real people. Users can guide the conversation by uploading PDFs, links, and even YouTube videos. The mobile app has been a long time coming, with Notebook LM first released on the web in July 2023 and made generally available in the United States in December of that year.
